AAC202 Expanded my knowledge of 3D asset creation. Submissions during the class included a Low Poly object, a cleanup and texturization of a pre-made character model and the creation of an environment.
During ACR103 i learnt the fundamentals of 3D Modeling, we predominantly used Maya for these tasks which my lecturer was quite unhappy about ~ regardless, this class built the foundations of my knowledge in regards to Poly Modeling. During the class i submitted three projects, a Greatsword Model, an Environment Model of a 'Wizards Study', and a Character Model.
Throughout GPF104 i collaborated with fellow student developers to build a short demo game, from conceptualiztion to development management (via HackNPlan) we successfully built a small platforming game within Unity entitled Premise To Peak. My role within the project was Asset creation, coding, UI/UX design and general direction. The Demo is public and available on Itch.io.
During my time in ACR101, i built a couple of portfolios showcasing the development of a concept game project entitled Solemn Vow. The project was pitched as a side-scrolling RPG featuring a core gameplay element of two alternative dimensions the player could access, each with it's own unique style generally inverted from the other.
GDP102 was my first foray into the development of a project within a group, submissions included were the conceptualization and build of a single-player vertical slice, alongside a design presentation pertaining to the vertical slice. Together alongside two other students, we developed and submitted the project which was entitled Kings Collector: Profundis Undercroft. My role within the project was to build the level within Unreal Engine, alongside writing the code, designing basic U.I/UX and designing the splash screen.
